Jaleel Green

A singer, dancer, actor and choreographer from New Orleans, Louisiana.  He is a proud graduate of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts as well as Bard College in New York. At Bard College, Jaleel earned a B.A in Theater and performance while training rigorously in Bard College’s dance department.Jaleel also trained under the direction of Debbie Allen at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in Los Angeles. Jaleel has been trained in various styles such as Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Modern and Musical Theater.  As a dance instructor, Jaleel believes his dancers should  understand the political, and social implications of our world and how we navigate the spaces we inhabit. Dancers understand their role as a dancer in society and how history has given us a blueprint that we must continue to revise.
